CAPECOD BEACH CHALET comprises of a pretty dining area with wooden table and blue painted chairs to seat six. The living area has two sofas and a large comfy chair scattered with beachy cushions, pretty lamps and a Cath Kidston seaside fabric blind.The oak wooden floors give a contemporary feel to the house. The fully fitted integral kitchen includes a hob/oven, washing machine, a powder blue Smeg retro fridge freezer and a dishwasher, because washing up is no fun on holiday! In addition, pretty blue and white painted crockery and vintage china tea cups and saucers, nautical tea towels, pots, pans and cutlery are all included to make your stay enjoyable.

The chalet has three double bedrooms with beds and bedding, pretty throws and cushions, the bedrooms have wooden floors throughout to give a relaxed holiday feel. The bathroom has a power shower and large free standing bath, loo and wash basin. The bathroom has one wall wood panelled painted in Farrow and Ball paint colour and the other walls are white tiled.

The blue spotty Cath Kidston floor tiles continue the blue theme running throughout the chalet. There are also plantation shutters at the window, giving it a very BEACHY feel!Unfortunately towels are not provided.The property is fully centrally heated and well insulated. It has pretty white wooden double glazed windows with black out blinds throughout.

There is also a free standing solid fuel fire in the living room, for those chilly nights.There is a French-window from the living room opening onto a small raised decked area in to the garden. The garden fully surrounds the chalet and is filled with mature trees and shrubs and a pretty garden hut. The cosy anthracite burner is fabulous for chilly evenings, where it is wonderful to curl up next to and lose yourself in Enid Blytons, “The Faraway Tree Stories”.

A picnic table and bench is provided for outside dining, with Cath Kidston flowery parasol for sunny evenings! There is also a barbeque to cook on or better still a barbeque evening on the beach. There is a side gate to the garden from which children can get to the beach without crossing any roads.

CAPECOD has been decorated with love and attention to detail, it has a quirky seaside style mixed with the owners love for vintage and shabby chic. Fabrics by Ralph Lauren and Cath Kidston, mixed with pretty painted furniture that has been lovingly restored back to life.

Sea shells and drift wood, hand made pots and paintings by local artists in each room, soft furnishings to complement the surroundings, beachy straw baskets and knitted blankets for chilly evenings are just a few things to make you feel at home on your British seaside holiday. The shelves are packed with Enid Blyton adventure books and Peter Pan classics and traditional board games to make your family evenings more enjoyable too.

CAPECOD CHALET is privately owned and LOVED! It is used by the owner and her family throughout the year, so it is always well maintained.

Please note that the chalet is of wooden construction, therefore this in a NON SMOKING CHALET, small well behaved dogs are allowed on request (but own poo collecting from the garden essential).
